Join this guided body-based therapeutic practice where we’ll do a Body Scan, Earth Body Sky practice, and Nature practice, with the intent to give our bodies space to deepen into rest.
Somatics suggests that connecting with the body is a path toward liberation. Somatics intertwined with meditative and shamanistic practices in Tibetan Buddhism, lead us to a contemplative nature in which sitting with the body in intention, spaciousness, and awareness, not only leads us to connect with our own bodies, but to the body of the Earth, our ancestors, spirit, and the nature of all phenomena—emptiness. These guided body-based therapeutic practices are a simple, yet powerful practice that can guide us toward heart-centered, wisdom and compassion, essential to any activist and person dealing with societal oppression.
Tai Chou-Kudu is a Blasian Somatic Practitioner who centers BIPOC and LGBTQ people in her practice. She is trained in craniosacral work and has extensively studied and embodied activist principles, desiring societal transformation.
